The production process is divided into eight spindles, arranged in their spindle drum. The machine has eight processing stations, each with a front and a cross slide, that turn the incoming bar into the customer’s workpiece.
Each station normally has two tools: This means that our machines have at least sixteen tools that are able to perform turning, milling, drilling, broaching and threading operations at the same time.
In addition to simultaneous processing, an advantage of our machines is the reduced cycle time thanks to automation and the possibility of working on multiple faces simultaneously: downtimes are significantly reduced and productivity is up to 8 times higher than by a single-spindle lathe.
