The S-series eight-spindle automatic machines ensure fast and accurate machining and minimise downtime and maintenance costs thanks to an accurate retrofitting process. They are the perfect choice for those looking for excellent performance.
The production process is divided into eight spindles, arranged in their spindle drum. The machine has eight processing stations, each with a front and a cross slide, that turn the incoming bar into the customer’s workpiece.
Each station normally has two tools: This means that our machines have at least sixteen tools that are able to perform turning, milling, drilling, broaching and threading operations at the same time.
In addition to simultaneous processing, an advantage of our machines is the reduced cycle time thanks to automation and the possibility of working on multiple faces simultaneously: downtimes are significantly reduced and productivity is up to 8 times higher than by a single-spindle lathe.
The production process in our multi-spindle machines is organized on eight spindles arranged in their spindle drum, each associated with a processing station equipped with front and cross slides. This allows, thanks to an optimized cycle, to transform the incoming bar into the customer’s finished workpiece.
Two tools are normally used at each station, subsequently, sixteen tools can be used simultaneously to perform turning, milling, drilling, broaching and threading operations. Thanks to this configuration, in addition to the ability to perform more work at the same time, our machines ensure a significant reduction in cycle time, facilitated by automation. As a result, downtime is virtually eliminated, and productivity can be up to eight times higher than that of a single-spindle lathe.
The S-Series machines offer outstanding performance, with precision and job optimization as key aspects. Their mechanics, although complex, is perfect and ideal to manufacture extremely difficult workpieces.
